WASHINGTON (AFP) United States (US) President Donald Trump paused the rollout of fresh tariffs on some Canadian goods late Tuesday, after negotiations between both countries that went down to the wire.
The reprieve from Trump’s 50-percent duties were “based on the fact that Canada and the U.S.A., subject to the finalization of documents, have a DEAL!” said the US leader in a social media post.
