KINGSTON, Jamaica—Minister of Education, Skills, Youth and Information, Senator Dana Morris Dixon, says amendment to the country’s legislation that facilitates adoption, as well as administrative changes in the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA), will assist in making the adoption process less tedious.
The minister noted, too, that critical to the process is a framework around fostering.
Dr Morris Dixon was responding to questions during a post-Cabinet press briefing at Jamaica House in St Andrew on Wednesday.
