Honorary consul to Atlanta Elaine Grant-Bryan ‘humbled’ by OD recognition

When Elaine Grant-Bryan settled in Atlanta in 1990, that city was long acknowledged as the mecca of black empowerment in the United States. She joined a growing Jamaican community which has made an impact in commerce and community politics.
Grant-Bryan has been Jamaica’s honorary consul to Atlanta since 2018. Currently in her third term, she has been awarded the Order of Distinction (Officer class) by the Jamaican government for service to the diaspora.
That award will be presented during the National Honours and Awards ceremony on October 19 at King’s House in Kingston.
