(Kaieteur News) – Amid constant blackouts and delays in the construction of key transmission projects under the Guyana Power and Light (GPL), Opposition Leader Azruddin Mohamed has said Guyanese should cast doubt on the Government’s promise of a brighter Christmas.
Instead, he said, citizens should prepare for more outages as the holiday season approaches.
Mohamed made the assertion in a video shared on his Facebook page on Friday.
