The Ministry of Trade, Investment and Tourism is looking to attract a new segment of visitors to Trinidad and Tobago.
That’s according to Minister Satyakama Maharaj, who outlined the government’s strategy to diversify the country’s tourism market.
Minister Maharaj said the government has streamlined the yacht arrival process, reducing clearance times from four hours to just 15 minutes. He added that a health office has been established at the main entry point and immigration procedures improved, making it easier for yacht crews and passengers to enter Trinidad and Tobago.
