No water: Meadowbrook High to close for most students Friday

KINGSTON, Jamaica—The administration of Meadowbrook High has announced that the school will be closed for most students on Friday, September 25, due to a lack of water.
In an advisory to parents, the school said it had no water in its storage tanks and had not received a scheduled delivery from a private supplier.
” We do not have water in our storage tanks. We have not received from a private supplier today, even though arrangements were made. The closure will not apply to students who have signed up for the Caribbean Maritime University (CMU) trip. Those students are reminded to wear their school uniform and take note of their scheduled departure time,” it said.
