Two days af­ter a hor­rif­ic ac­ci­dent claimed the life of Pub­lic Trans­port Ser­vice Cor­po­ra­tion (PTSC) bus dri­ver Mun­saf Khan, col­leagues joined his fam­i­ly and friends to give him a glow­ing farewell.

Khan, 48, of Av­o­cat Vil­lage, Fyz­abad, died on Tues­day morn­ing in a col­li­sion along the Solomon Ho­choy High­way, Freeport, while op­er­at­ing a PTSC Deluxe Coach ser­vice. The crash al­so claimed the life of pas­sen­ger Rox­anne Phillip, 39. In­ves­ti­ga­tors are still piec­ing to­geth­er what hap­pened, but the loss has re­ver­ber­at­ed through the PTSC com­mu­ni­ty and among the trav­el­ling pub­lic.

Dozens of PTSC em­ploy­ees, in and out of uni­form, gath­ered at the Av­o­cat Masjid for the Janazah rites. Imam Shahid Ho­sein led the recita­tion of Surah Yasin, and the men per­formed the Janazah Salaat, the Is­lam­ic fu­ner­al prayer seek­ing for­give­ness and mer­cy for the de­ceased.
