Capleton has spent more than three decades setting stages on fire. On August 30, the Fireman is bringing the heat to Jamaica’s north coast — and as a result he is ushering in the era of the ‘Culture is Rising’.
The reggae and dancehall icon will headline ENCORE LIVE: Culture Rising at Plantation Cove in St Ann, anchoring a six-hour celebration that pulls together live reggae, sound-system culture and some serious Jamaican musical pedigree.
Presented by Midas Entertainment and 8 Rivaz Ultra Lounge, the day-to-evening experience runs from 4 pm to 10 pm and will also feature reggae singer Nesbeth and celebrated saxophonist Dean Fraser, with DJ Delano of Renaissance and legendary St Ann sound system Bass Odyssey controlling the musical atmosphere.
