A CenÂtral man and his wife were grantÂed bail yesÂterÂday, afÂter they were charged in reÂlaÂtion to the rape of the woman’s relÂaÂtive and the subÂseÂquent aborÂtion of the man’s child.
AcÂcordÂing to the charges, the man, who claimed to be a spirÂiÂtuÂal adÂviÂsor, sugÂgestÂed that the girl’s deÂceased faÂther’s spirÂit was hauntÂing her and she needÂed to get it exÂorÂcised. The girl was sixÂteen at that time. The way he sugÂgestÂed this be done was through sexÂuÂal penÂeÂtraÂtion.
