CUNUPIA businessman Imraz Ali has been missing for a month and police are trying to determine whether rumours that he was killed in a deal gone bad are true.
Sixty-year-old Ali, commonly called ‘Clubs’, was last seen on September 4 at around 3 p.m., leaving his Ajodha Road home in his white Toyota Crown, registration PBT 7377, to conduct business. It is believed that he had a large sum of cash on his person.
Reports indicate that Ali, accompanied by a business friend, went to a mechanic’s shop in Freeport, where he left his vehicle for a suspension check.
