The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has launched the Traffic Warden Priority Bus Route Compliance Unit to strengthen enforcement and improve traffic management along the Priority Bus Route.
The Unit was inaugurated by Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Eli Zakour during a ceremony at the Ministry’s Head Office in Port of Spain. He announced that the Unit will begin full operations on Monday.
In his feature address, Minister Zakour outlined the Ministry’s priorities for the Priority Bus Route, noting the need for consistent enforcement and operational efficiency. He said the Unit will provide dedicated on-the-ground monitoring and traffic management at key points along the route, supporting oversight and transit operations.
