(Kaieteur News) – Guyana’s most highly anticipated theatrical productions, KFC’s Nothing to Laugh About 17, is set to return to the stage on July 4th and 5th, bringing with its signature humour, sharp satire, and fearless storytelling that audiences have come to expect.
Created in 2008 by Maria Benschop, Nothing to Laugh About has grown into a standout fixture on the local entertainment calendar. Over the years, the production has earned a reputation for pushing the envelope while using comedy as a mirror to reflect society’s most talked-about issues, uncomfortable truths, and everyday realities.
This year’s edition promises another unforgettable experience, featuring a powerful mix of satire, slapstick comedy, dramatic skits, and social commentary. The production will explore a wide range of themes, including relationship issues, trending situations, abuse, mental health, infidelity, family dynamics, social behaviour, and the many issues that continue to shape conversations across Guyana.
