MIGRANT activists are expressing their agreement with the Government’s announcement that it will deport migrants who run afoul of the law.

Defence Minister Wayne Sturge made the announcement on Thursday during the post-Cabinet news conference at the Red House in Port of Spain.

He also said there are Venezuelans in Trinidad and Tobago whose background is unknown to the Government. To address this, he said the Government will be ramping-up its monitoring of those who are already on the shores of T&T.
