A 17-year-old male from Christ Church has been remanded to prison after being charged with multiple offences, including aggravated burglary and firearm-related crimes arising from two alleged home invasions.
He is alleged to have trespassed on the home of Marcel Leroy and stole three gold-coloured chains valued at $1 200, three gold-coloured bangles valued at $1 500, and four gold-coloured rings valued at $1 200, with a total value of $3 900 belonging to Leroy, and at the time of its commission had a firearm.
The juvenile is also accused of unlawfully entering the home of Lana Pennegan and stealing $2 000 belonging to her while having a firearm; that he unlawfully and maliciously engaged in conduct which placed Shemariah Batson in danger of death or serious bodily harm; and that he used a firearm and did not have a valid licence to do so.
