Zandre Roye and Mattea Issa successfully defended their titles at the Jamaica Golf Association (JGA) National Senior Golf Trials at the Half Moon Golf Course in Montego Bay, on Sunday.
Roye overcame a roller-coaster three rounds to retain the men’s title by a single stroke after posting the tournament’s best final-round score of one-over-par 73.
After opening with a four-over-par 76 to sit second, Roye slipped to sixth place following a nine-over-par 81 in the second round before rebounding in the final round to finish on 14-over-par 230.
