BASSETERRE, St Kitts, CMC – Martinique media are reporting that St Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew suffered a stroke and was treated at the University Hospital of Martinique.
Martinique La Première reported that Drew was admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit on Monday evening after experiencing headaches and nausea.
The report said Drew was placed under observation and treated by an intensive-care team led by Professor Dabor Resière. It said his condition subsequently stabilised following treatment and that he is not expected to suffer lasting effects.
