BASSETERRE, St Kitts (CMC) — Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Dr Terrance Drew has reportedly been hospitalised and is set to be transported abroad “for specialised observation and precautionary monitoring”.
Drew was reportedly admitted to the Joseph N France (JNF) General Hospital on Sunday night. A government statement said “arrangements are currently underway to facilitate this transport”.
It said that Prime Minister Drew, 49, a medical practitioner, who has been in office since August 2022, was brought to the hospital on Sunday evening “following symptoms of mild discomfort, nausea and headache”.
