Sandhya Divya Maharaj’s parents have sacrificed for her since she was a baby.
Those year the sacrifice were rewarded as she was one of five students who topped the 2025 Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination.
On Friday, 11-year-old Sandhya, a student of Macaulay Government Primary School, along with Nicholas Dolly, Xavier Telesford, Kailash Dialsingh and Ashlyn Ramkissoon, were honoured by the Ministry of Education for their excellence.
