Trop­i­cal Storm Jer­ry has in­ten­si­fied in­to a mod­er­ate trop­i­cal storm and con­tin­ues on a north-west­ward track as it nears the north­ern Lee­ward is­lands.

As of 2:00 pm to­day, Wednes­day 8 Oc­to­ber 2025, Trop­i­cal Storm Jer­ry was cen­tred near 13.9° N lat­i­tude and 52.7° W lon­gi­tude, ap­prox­i­mate­ly 1,210 km east-south­east of the north­ern Lee­ward is­lands. Jer­ry is mov­ing west-north­west at 37 km/h and is ex­pect­ed to pass near or just north­east of the north­ern Lee­ward is­lands late Thurs­day.

En­vi­ron­men­tal con­di­tions are not ex­pect­ed to favour fur­ther de­vel­op­ment of the sys­tem as it ap­proach­es the north­ern Lee­ward is­lands. Jer­ry pos­es no di­rect threat to Trinidad and To­ba­go.
