Tropical Storm Jerry has intensified into a moderate tropical storm and continues on a north-westward track as it nears the northern Leeward islands.
As of 2:00 pm today, Wednesday 8 October 2025, Tropical Storm Jerry was centred near 13.9° N latitude and 52.7° W longitude, approximately 1,210 km east-southeast of the northern Leeward islands. Jerry is moving west-northwest at 37 km/h and is expected to pass near or just northeast of the northern Leeward islands late Thursday.
Environmental conditions are not expected to favour further development of the system as it approaches the northern Leeward islands. Jerry poses no direct threat to Trinidad and Tobago.
