Deputy Commissioner of Police Junior Benjamin yesterday advised citizens to ensure the Carnival remains clean and safe as activities related to it wind down for the rest of this week.
He made the comment while visiting Sangre Grande Carnival festivities, where he witnessed several small bands and one band of moko jumbies parade.
Most of the mas bands came from Sangre Grande and environs and portrayed their costumes to the massive crowd that waited patiently to witness their parade.
