KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) says it has taken note of voicenotes leaked on traditional and social media in which two PNP executive members are allegedly heard confirming the PNP’s preparedness to implement delay tactics and use baseless allegations to smear “patriotic Jamaicans”.
In a statement on Tuesday, the JLP said media reports have indicated that the voicenotes were sent in a PNP executive WhatsApp group on May 27, 2026, shortly after Major General Antony Anderson was announced to head the National Resilience and Reconstruction Authority (NaRRA).
In the first piece of leaked audio the statement quotes, a PNP executive member whom it says may be heard stating:
