(Kaieteur News) – ExxonMobil Guyana Limited (EMGL) this week announced that it will be exploring for more oil at the Liza Two site where the company already struck hydrocarbons that is currently being produced.
The Liza Two project is producing about 255,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd). Exxon received regulatory approval to commence production in April 2019 by the Government of Guyana (GoG).
In a notice published by the Maritime Administration Department (MARAD), Exxon revealed that it will continue exploration drilling operations at the Liza Two project within the Stabroek Block of Guyana’s Exclusive Economic Zone.
