The Firearms ApĀpeal Board has been orĀdered to reĀconĀsidĀer a leĀgal chalĀlenge over the reĀfusal of the PoĀlice ComĀmisĀsionĀer to grant a man a Firearm Userās LiĀcence (FUL).
In a judgĀment deĀlivĀered on ThursĀday, High Court Judge Joan Charles upĀheld the manās claim against the board, alĀthough his idenĀtiĀty was withĀheld due to perĀsonĀal safeĀty conĀcerns.
The apĀpliĀcant, a seĀnior emĀployĀee in the techĀniĀcal opĀerĀaĀtions deĀpartĀment of a maĀjor telecomĀmuĀniĀcaĀtions comĀpaĀny, first apĀplied for the liĀcence in 2017.
