Cavalier assistant coach David Laylor says he is deeply concerned about his team’s struggles in front of goal after failing to score in their opening two matches of the Concacaf Caribbean Cup.
Cavalier were held to their second straight 0-0 draw by Dominican Republic side Salcedo FC in their Group B encounter at the National Stadium on Thursday night, following a similar stalemate against Cibao in their opener.
“We are really concerned about it, and we are addressing it,” Laylor said. “We addressed some issues last night (Thursday) after the game, and so now we are looking at it seriously as we move forward. We are going to make some adjustments to the team to see if we can get some better results.”
