Call for stronger communities in crime prevention

A call for stronger communities and greater public involvement in crime prevention was among the key messages delivered at a Christ Church East branch meeting on Sunday.

Minister of Legal Affairs and Criminal Justice, Michael Lashley, says the fight against crime cannot rest solely on legislation and policing.

He says communities must also play their part.
