Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar SC has announced that the Mid-Year Budget review will be presented on June 15th.

Speaking in the House of Representatives at the opening of the second session of the 13th Parliament, she noted that this will be followed by a series of other presentations during the week.

“Next week, we will return to this House to present the Mid-Year Review and Supplementary Appropriation. So this House will return, Mr. Speaker, subject to the Standing Orders, we will return next Wednesday, when the Finance Bill 2026 will be debated. That Bill is to give effect to measures that were announced in the 2025-26 budget.”
