Ministry renews focus on phonics and foundational literacy

The Ministry of Education Transformation is placing renewed emphasis on the importance of phonics and foundational literacy through its “Every Child Barbados Initiative”.

The programme recently brought its work into the public space, with a showcase at Sky Mall featuring local authors, children’s books and interactive learning tools.
