Last Friday, book-lovers of all walks of whimsy attended the live staging of Friday Night Bookish Lyme (FNBL), the official opener of the Book Fairy Festival, hosted live by founder and curator Shanique ‘Shanz the Book Fairy’ Sinclair.
Held at The University of the West Indies (UWI) Regional Headquarters, the night’s attendees included featured authors for the three-day festival and a live discussion with award-winning journalist, professor and author Nicole Carr about her book, The Price of Exclusion: The Pursuit of Healthcare in a Segregated Nation.
The book club event teased the excitement to come for a weekend of fun, wonder, and exploration, set under the theme ‘Lost in Wonderland’.
