A small monkey escaped from its owner and was roaming the Maraval Road area in Port of Spain before zoo officials captured it.
The Emperor Valley Zoo yesterday confirmed the capture of the monkey, which appeared to be a capuchin.
Contacted yesterday, the Emperor Valley Zoo said its office received calls on Wednesday from residents reporting that the monkey was loose along Maraval Road.
