A 59-year-old Moruga man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of his relative, Brian Figaro, who died days after being allegedly assaulted earlier this month.
Servulus Figaro appeared before Master Gray at the South Criminal Court “D” on Christmas Eve, where he was charged with the unlawful killing of Brian Figaro. The matter was adjourned to January 27, 2026.
Police said the incident occurred on December 8 when Brian Figaro, also of Moruga, became involved in a heated argument with a male relative. During the altercation, he was allegedly struck several times about the body with a baton, sustaining injuries to his head and abdomen.
