The family of Averzon Miller, a woman who has been missing since 2023, is demanding closure, saying they have been waiting for confirmation that a body found nearly two years ago is hers.
Her sister, Kealizanda Grant, told Guardian Media that since September 2023, the police took DNA samples from family members after a decomposing body was found on a beach in Chatham.
However, to this day, she said, the family is still awaiting the results.
