PriceSmart launches new Montego Bay location

PRICESMART Inc is set to launch its third Jamaican store Wednesday, September 30 as it continues to commit billions into the Jamaican economy through new locations and logistical investments.

The Nasdaq-listed company launches at Sugar Mill Road, Ironshore, St James, with customers to begin shopping on October 1. The launch and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the Montego Bay warehouse club which will host several PriceSmart executives, including co-founder and Chairman Robert Price. Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce Aubyn Hill will deliver the keynote remarks on behalf of Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness.

“The doors are about to open, and we’re excited to welcome the community to the newest PriceSmart club,” the Jamaican subsidiary said on its Instagram page a week ago.
