THE Patriotic Front, led by Mickela Panday, yesterday presented all 37 of its candidates who will be contesting seats in the upcoming general election.
All candidates were seated at a round table on the compound of the Steelworkers’ General Union in Couva yesterday, and each was given time to introduce themselves to the country ahead of the election campaigning that will precede April 28.
The Patriotic Front, which originally intended to contest all 41 seats this year, saw four of its prospective candidates dropping out of the race ahead of nomination day, alleging harassment, intimidation and bullying.
