Jamaica’s historic push for slavery reparations enters an unprecedented legal phase today, as Culture Minister Olivia Grange departs for the United Kingdom (UK) to deliver a groundbreaking petition to King Charles III.
Grange is leading Jamaica’s delegation to formally lodge a petition with King Charles III to seek legal guidance on its slavery reparations claim from Britain.
The Minister had announced the visit in Parliament in June.
