CVM’s Tyrone Reid elected PAJ president

KINGSTON, Jamaica — CVM Television Managing Editor Tyrone Reid has been elected president of the Press Association of Jamaica (PAJ).

Reid was elected during the association’s Annual General Meeting on Sunday at its headquarters in St Andrew.

Commenting on his appointment, Reid thanked God and his colleagues while underscoring the importance of press freedom to Jamaica’s democracy.
