UNITED National Congress (UNC) political leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar believes the party’s screening committee has made the best choices in its selection of the 39 candidates for the April 28 general election.

According to Persad-Bissessar, while there would be some “discontent”, the majority have expressed satisfaction with the party’s slate of candidates.

The UNC had previously announced a ‘Coalition of Interests’ to contest some seats in the general election.
