The Police Service Commission (PolSC) is being asked to initiate disciplinary proceedings against Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro over his use of a skull logo which resembles that of “The Punisher”.

The Punisher is a Marvel comic book anti-hero and former soldier turned vigilante who uses lethal force against criminals.

The complaint, lodged by Umar Abdullah, leader of the First Wave Movement, also seeks to have the commission, in the interim, “issue an order restraining the Commissioner from wearing any symbols, insignia, or logos associated with ‘The Punisher’ while on duty”.
