THREE sex offenders, including two paedophiles, will be among 21 Trinidad and Tobago nationals deported from the United States and due to have arrived at Piarco International Airport early this morning.
According to Defence Minister Wayne Sturge, a catchment and assistance system has been set up at the airport ahead of the deportees arrival, however, not all will face the same process.
Speaking at yesterday’s post-Cabinet news conference at the Cabildo Building, Office of the Attorney General, Port of Spain, Sturge disclosed that the three sex offenders, one person involved in a homicide case and one who was involved in human trafficking, will be among those subject to monitoring from their arrival in Trinidad.
