The MiĀaĀmi-based UnitĀed States SouthĀern ComĀmand (SOUTHĀCOM) said that two alĀleged male ānarĀco-terĀrorĀistsā were killed in a ālethal kiĀnetĀic strikeā on a vesĀsel opĀerĀatĀed by āDesĀigĀnatĀed TerĀrorĀist OrĀgaĀniĀzaĀtionsā in the Caribbean Sea.
SOUTHĀCOM did not idenĀtiĀfy the āDesĀigĀnatĀed TerĀrorĀist OrĀgaĀniĀzaĀtionsā but said the strike was givĀen at the diĀrecĀtion of its ComĀmanĀder GenĀerĀal FranĀcis L. DonoĀvan.
SOUTHĀCOM said Joint Task Force SouthĀern Spearās inĀtelĀliĀgence āconĀfirmed the vesĀsel was tranĀsitĀing along known narĀco-trafĀfickĀing routes in the Caribbean and was enĀgaged in narĀco-trafĀfickĀing opĀerĀaĀtions.ā
