An autopsy is expected to be performed today on the body of Homadath Sookdeo, which was found in bushes at Tyrico Bay on Sunday.
Police are yet to determine why the 44-year-old man was murdered.
Sookdeo, a resident of Todd’s Road, Chaguanas, was reported missing after he failed to show up at his childhood home in Longdenville for Sunday lunch.
