After the Tobago Heritage Festival was launched in 1987, villages around Tobago were eager and excited to get on board and showcase a historical or cultural event.
Some events have endured, like the Salaka Feast in Pembroke and the Belmanna Riots in Roxborough, while others did not. One such event was called “Nutten Day”, hosted by the Mt Pleasant community.
