As Trinidad and Tobago prepares for Carnival 2026, head of the Criminal Division, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Richard Smith is urging the public to be aware of their surroundings and to drink responsibly.
ACP Smith, who is also the TTPS Silver Commander for this year's Carnival, strongly advised fete-goers to use their discretion.
“You could never drink out $3,000 in an all-inclusive fete. You could never drink that,” he asserts. “If you try, you will die trying or you will kill other persons trying to do that.”
