As Trinidad and ToĀbaĀgo preĀpares for CarĀniĀval 2026, head of the CrimĀiĀnal DiĀviĀsion, AsĀsisĀtant ComĀmisĀsionĀer of PoĀlice (ACP) Richard Smith is urgĀing the pubĀlic to be aware of their surĀroundĀings and to drink reĀsponĀsiĀbly.
ACP Smith, who is alĀso the TTPS SilĀver ComĀmanĀder for this year's CarĀniĀval, strongĀly adĀvised fete-goĀers to use their disĀcreĀtion.
āYou could nevĀer drink out $3,000 in an all-inĀcluĀsive fete. You could nevĀer drink that,ā he asĀserts. āIf you try, you will die tryĀing or you will kill othĀer perĀsons tryĀing to do that.ā
