Zwade Alleyne fought hard to stay alive but his battle ended tragically yesterday, as he succumbed to injuries he sustained one week ago after he was shot in the head by a stray bullet as he limed with friends near his home.
The 17-year-old footballer was injured on May 10, as he stood in front of Building 12, Maloney Gardens, metres away from his front door.
Relatives confirmed the young man was pronounced dead at 4.15 pm by medical officials at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, Mt Hope.
