Trinidad and To­ba­go is now un­der a State of Emer­gency, fol­low­ing a procla­ma­tion by Pres­i­dent Chris­tine Car­la Kan­ga­loo, af­ter a for­mal rec­om­men­da­tion from Po­lice Com­mis­sion­er Al­lis­ter Gue­var­ro.

The SoE went in­to im­me­di­ate ef­fect with the Pres­i­dent’s procla­ma­tion.
