With leading rider Raddesh Roman out of the saddle due to injury, second-place Tevin Foster made full use of the opportunity, booting home four winners on Saturday, August 1 to cut the deficit in the race for the 2026 championship title.
On Saturday, July 25 in the second race, Roman was aboard Midnight Galaxy when disaster struck in a split second. Unseated, he tumbled to the track in an incident that also involved Demar Williams on Ruby’s Light and Tyrese Anderson on Bubblingbrownsugar.
Starting the day on 50 winners — nine behind Roman on 59 — Foster cut the gap to just five with his four-timer. The championship now stands: Roman 59, Foster 54.
