Of­fi­cers from the St Joseph Po­lice Sta­tion are prob­ing the death of a rob­bery sus­pect in­side a cell there.

Po­lice said Capil­dave Mootoo, of Tem­ple Street, Bam­boo Set­tle­ment #2, Val­sayn, was ar­rest­ed around 11 pm on Ju­ly 28, fol­low­ing an al­leged rob­bery in the area.

He was lat­er tak­en to the St Joseph Po­lice Sta­tion, where he was searched and placed in a cell by him­self.
