KINGSTON, Jamaica — Defending champions Mt Pleasant FA qualified for consecutive finals of the Concacaf Club Championships after winning the semi-final return leg against Club Sando of Trinidad 2-0 at Sabina Park on Thursday for a 3-1 aggregate.
Second-half goals from Warner Brown and Nickalia Fuller made amends for a first-half penalty miss by Trayvon Reid, his second in the series, as Mt Pleasant FA set up a match-up with the winner of the other semi-final where Portmore leads Violette of Haiti 3-1.
The Jamaican team held the advantage coming into the game as they away goal in the 1-1 draw in Trinidad a week earlier gave them the edge.
