FORMER director-general of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Ramesh Lutchmedial is questioning moves by St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves to claim a financial stake in the regional airspace managed by Trinidad and Tobago.
In a post on the Facebook page on the SVG Agency for Public Information, Gonsalves said he hoped to hold talks with TT towards “sharing the benefits derived from control of TT over the Piarco Flight Information Region.”
He said that airspace ran from Antigua in the north to Trinidad in the south and extended almost halfway across the Atlantic.
