Ear­ly vot­ers in San Juan/Barataria say they faced lengthy wait times be­fore cast­ing their bal­lots on Mon­day morn­ing, ei­ther be­cause of long lines or an un­usu­al­ly longer vot­er process at some polling sta­tions

"A lot of peo­ple come and it will have con­ges­tion.

"It is not as fast as I think it should have been. Last (time) it was faster. It need­ed to move a lit­tle faster. My sta­tion didn't have a lot of peo­ple so I out a lit­tle quick­er," said a vot­er named Sookhai who cast his bal­lot at the Febeau Gov­ern­ment Pri­ma­ry School around 6.20 am.
