With increased reports of bullying in schools and concerns over teen mental health, the sixth edition of the “Speak Up” Workshop in San Fernando is aiming to provide parents and students with workable solutions.
The annual workshop hosted by Crowded Room events will this year pay special emphasis to a topic that leader Sunita Gopaul says has always been prevalent among its patrons, and by extension the wider community.
The event, which will be held on Saturday April 12 at Presentation College in San Fernando, she told the Express yesterday, will not only focus on self-confidence and leadership, but will also feature clinical child psychologist Ahhalia Ramdass, as well as a number of other experts.
